Our physicians have admitting privileges and we see newborns at Crouse. The Neonatology Group takes care of our babies at Community and St. Joseph’s Hospitals and will discharge to our care. If your child gets admitted to the Golisano Children’s Hospital at Upstate Medical University, they will be cared for by a Pediatric Hospitalist team. The Hospitalists have been specially trained for this role, and will provide excellent medical care. They will be available throughout the day while your child is in the hospital and they should be in communication with our practice during and after the medical stay.
We believe in the importance of training the next generation of doctors and to this end, we are a teaching practice. We participate in teaching family practice residents from St. Joseph’s Hospital and pediatrics residents from Upstate. Often, there will be residents in our office who will be seeing patients with us.
We also have board certified Lactation Consultants available for telemed consultations as well as scheduled appointments.
